104 km ultramarathon with 6 000 m of elevation gain along the Sognefjord and Lustrafjord from Kaupanger all the way to Skjolden. One of Norway's toughest mountain ultras. Medals for all finishers.

Annual autumn market in the streets of Gamle Laerdalsoyri (26-27 September). Norway's most intact 18th-century timber townscape provides the backdrop for stalls selling local produce, crafts and antiques, with folk music and live entertainment.
