Fly to Bergen (BGO) or Oslo (OSL). From Bergen, the E16 highway reaches Flåm in ~3 hours. From Oslo, the Bergen Railway to Myrdal + Flåm Railway is one of the world's great train journeys.

Waterproof shell, warm mid-layer (even July), sturdy boots, and a swimsuit — fjord sauna culture is real. A thermos and reusable water bottle are considered civil.
